Mole
Mole photos can be viewed on most shrew sites and will include habitat and pictures of babies.
Moles belong to the same family as shrews and desmans: the Talpidae family. Other types include the broad-footed, hairy-tailed, coast, shrew variety and the Townsend’s type. These animals are present in those habitats where the depth of the soil allows for tunneling.

These are small mammals that are known mostly in two types: the eastern type and the star-nosed type. They look alike; however, the eastern species has a naked red nose and a short tail.
